In the same way I was getting confident in riding the complete mountain, I chose to accompany some expert skiers down a significant famous 007 related black run, in exactly what do only be called not ideal conditions... after serious protests from myself, I finally decided to snow goggles only to find that these highly experienced twin plankers were side slipping down the mountain!!!

It's the weirdest thing when you're able to see other people on the slopes perfectly but cannot start to see the slope it self... there were times when I've genuinely thought I had arrived at a stop but hadn't, and then fell quite heavily, such is the manner your brain is fooled by such conditions. The end result from these experiences for me has been to find a couple of snowboarding goggles that give you the maximum amount of of an advantage in flat/low light conditions as you can.
