It really is officially spring. All the Bradford pear trees are draped inside the foam of blossoms, their marine connotations echoed by the white petals fishy odor. The sticky red buds on maple branches smell nice and acidic, a combination of hot metal and honey. On most mornings I step outdoors and feel uplifted through the bracing freshness. It really works much better than a cup full of coffee!
As I enter the subway, I realize that these days I smell more cheap perfume. Because people wear fewer layers, the sillage can be overwhelming.
The typical green apple and peach scents of hair products are now supplemented with the fragrances I'm sure. On Friday, I sat next to a lady wearing Dior JAdore. On Sunday when I was heading back house, a guy wearing Thierry Mugler Angel and tight black jeans complimented me on my own perfume I also wore Angel. Yesterday, my best mate and I needed to navigate the sushi bar in order to avoid a girl wearing half a bottle of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. And this morning I smelled the dewy gardenia and coffee at Starbucks.Very little of a scent revelation, however it made for an even more memorable morning.

I didnt think Id ever spend that much on shower gel again, but then I began to miss it. Lo and behold, now We have another bottle, as well as a small bottle of Its Raining Men.
Flying Fox is yet another certainly one of Lushs many jasmine bombs. I'm all out of their Jasmine Henna Fluff Ease right now, so I cant compare the fragrance, but Flying Fox is a huge sweet honeyed jasmine with ylang ylang, and is probably at least vaguely associated with their Lust discount perfume.
